Glorious Morning!

When i was younger my mom always let me grow Morning Glories so when i needed a vine type plant for my planters out front i remembered how much i loved watching them open each morning only to close by the end of the day!  I also love the fact that their leaves are perfect little heart shapes!

Papa Ziggy

Papa Ziggy is what the kids sometimes refer to Papa as, but in reality is a combination of Papa and his dog Ziggy's names together!

Couldn't resist saying that. These party lights just add atmosphere to our up north get-away this weekend when we went to Mio to hang out with family and go canoeing. 

Delightful Delaney

What an Angel baby Miss D was today.  We gave this photo thing another try and had some success after a small melt down yesterday.  We all learned a lot and and today went much better.  I had the pleasure of seeing another little angel today, Miss Ella ("Life's a journey not a destination.": Good things come in little packages!) popped in for a quick visit too, she is getting big and if am lucky we will be celebrating her 3 month milestone in photos soon.

Praying Mantis Salutes Flag

Let me start by saying that i do not like bugs, but when i saw this Praying Mantis this morning i had to photograph it.  The first several shots were on the ground and because of it's unusual color it blended in with the mulch so i looked around for another angle and then it started to climb one of my solar lights. While i was shooting i noticed it bent it's front leg and with the flag in the background it looked just like it was saluting the flag.

"Fink Plamingo . . ."

is what came flying out of my mouth one day when i was telling some neighbor friends to stop by for a party if they saw a Pink Flamingo stuck into the ground out in front of the house.  Well the faux pas caught on and i was soon calling my parties a Fink Plamingo Producitons, there by making it necessary for me to have these darling little pink flamingo table cloth weights given to me by my friend Debra.

Built Tonka Tuff

Dallas, a darling 6 month old came by today for a visit and a photo session, he is pictured with one of my recent finds an old Tonka Earth Mover I found in the toy box. I thought it would be super cute for little boy photos and i was right! Not only was Dallas cute today, but he was super sweet and worked so hard sitting up like a big boy for his photos!
