A leaf in the hand . . .

. . . is better than a bunch on the ground that have to be raked!

Today was a warm, windy, rainy day! 

I found this beautiful red maple leaf 

that was just begging to be photographed, 

I know what you are thinking, 

leaves can't talk, but you would be 

surprised how many objects speak to me!

Curb your enthusiasm

Took me a few minutes to figure out what exactly was going on when i pulled up at the gas station this morning. But only a few seconds to decide what an awesome photo op this was. (Don't worry no one was harmed in this parking disaster.)

Birthday Buddies!

Every year Cliff and Girl Cameron celebrate their birthdays together, today marked Cameron's 16th and Cliffs 44th.  

We had a wonderful dinner followed by some delicious birthday cake and a cool Cookie cake.

We had a few terrifying moments when we lit the sparkler type candles, they actually set off the smoke detectors.

Blast from the past, 1982 to be exact.

Attended my 30 year reunion tonight, and while a few of the characters have been around for most of this time, there were a few surprises in the crowd. It was great reconnecting with old friends and catching up on their lives.

There was also a photo booth there so i may get to post a link to that when they are put up online.

"Shocktober"

Well it is already starting, Cliff and i love Halloween and as soon as October starts, Cliff starts calling it "Shocktober" and creeps around trying to scare everyone, if he could dress like a Zombie for the whole month he would.

Today we started our new and improved and larger Halloween Cemetery and plans have begun for Halloween.

A few more tweaks a few days later!

Mums the word!

This weekend i bought some beautiful Mum's and this morning many of the blooms started to pop, i love the deeper orange center and the pumpkin orange edge.
