9/11 Never Forget

Today i am sure many conversations were had about where you were and what you were doing when the world changed on 9/11/01.  As my day started we were driving home from Frankenmuth and the first thing i thought about was looking at the houses we passed to see if they were flying their American Flags.  I was happy to see many homes flying American Flags and one little town we drove through had an American flag flying from the ladder of their fire truck.

On that fateful day i was at work and i have to say that as i drove in and listened to a news report on the radio it seemed more like a hoax or fake story. When i got to the store i knocked on the door of the bar next door and he turned on the big screen TV's, i just had to see if it was real.  Like so many people i sat in front of the TV for days after that watching the coverage still not believing my eyes.

As i wrap up my evening i have spent a couple hours watching some of the specials on TV, which have made me grateful for the hope and wonderful stories that have risen from the tragedy but also just as touched and emotional as if it happened yesterday.

Where were you on that day?
